NSW: Disqualified drunk driver causes 11-car pile-up
A disqualified drunk driver who caused an 11-car pile-up in the New South Wales Southern
Highlands .. had his keys wrestled from his hands to stop him driving away.
Police say the 58-year-old Moss Vale man was trying to turn left into Argyle Street
in Moss Vale yesterday afternoon .. when his car crashed into three other cars waiting
to turn right.
The crash caused other collisions along Argyle Street.
The car only stopped when it hit the wall of a local veterinary clinic .. where the
vet had to wrestle the keys out of the man's hands to stop him driving away.
The man returned a roadside breath test more than six times the legal limit .. and
is due to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today.
