Fed: Days lost to industrial disputes up 56pc in May ABS = 2

Workplace Relations Minister Peter Reith later blamed the Labor administration in NSW
for the blowout in work days lost.

"This is symptomatic of Labor administrations which pander to union excesses at the
expense of the broader community," he said in a statement.

"This is what people will get if they vote Labor at the next election.

"Modern workplace relations should foster cooperation, not confrontation as is being
witnessed in NSW."
